A month on 35mm film: July 2017

From daytrippin in Leeds, to tropical parties. July has been a jam-packed month. Go on have a little scroll…

I started the month at the MIF festival for this lass's birthday. We checked out the MIF (Manchester International Festival) at Albert Square, and danced the night away to hacienda DJ's in the festival pavilion.

I checked out the rainbow brolly installation in Liverpool. The 200 rainbow brollies installation was launched on Church Alley, next to Primark near the Bluecoat, to raise awareness of ADHD. The project is to remind people that ADHD and autism are ‘umbrella terms’ for a whole variety of neurodevelopment difficulties and highlights the challenges and stigmas of what can an ‘invisible’ disability.

We found an amazing camera shop in Leeds Corn Exchange. West Yorkshire Camera's have such a great range of vintage film cameras in great condition, well worth a visit if you're looking to dip your toe into film photography.

Belgrave Music Hall (below) has the perfect roof terrace, perfect for summer drinks.

I finished July in style for my friend Mary's birthday (*cough Island Party).
